One of our recent knockdown rebuild projects in Sydney’s Northern Beaches started as a tired 1950s brick veneer. The family’s story? Two working parents, three kids, a love of hosting, and a desperate need for connection after years of hiding in separate rooms.
We designed a bespoke double-storey home around a central, double-height living space – with a kitchen that faced the backyard (so parents could watch kids play while chopping vegetables) and a mezzanine study nook that overlooked the living room (so homework didn’t mean isolation).
